The London to Brighton Bike Ride
Sunday 19th June 2005
The London to Brighton Bike Ride is an annual charity event starting from
London's Clapham Common and finishing on the sea front in Brighton.
It occurs on a Sunday in June with some competitors passing through Merstham as early as 6:30am.
Entering at Gatton Bottom, down Rocky Lane, across the A23,
down New Battlebridge Lane and down to All Saints Church turning into Nutfield Road.
The cyclists finally leave Merstham via Nutfield Road,
with still over half of the journey ahead of them.
